Tjeerd is a lawyer and partner. His clients’ cases stem from actions by the government. Whether it concerns zoning plans, enforcement cases, administrative fines, damages cases against the government or tenders, with his extensive experience of working for and against the government, he knows which steps to take.
Tjeerd also litigates regularly in procurement cases. He regularly conducts workshops (together with procurement specialist Octavia Siertsema) on ‘tendering’ to alert entrepreneurs to the typical pitfalls of procurement law.
Among his clients, Tjeerd counts builders, non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs and individuals. His job is to legally secure the interests of these clients. Sometimes with, but often against the government.
“Tjeerd is a substantive expert in the field of administrative law. As a lawyer, he is forceful and courteous, but he also engages in critical debate when necessary. Everything to safeguard the client’s interests. And he knows how to convey those interests with flair during a hearing. Tjeerd can formulate clearly and always does so in his own original way. This translates into pleasantly readable pieces (including articles) of quality.”
