Dominique studied Law at Leiden University. Here she successfully completed the master’s degree in civil law. A long cherished dream that has become reality, because at a young age she already had her goal clearly in mind: to become a lawyer.
Meanwhile, Dominique is part of the real estate and government section within Van Veen Advocaten. She focuses mainly on (civil) real estate law, dealing with tenancy law, construction law and other real estate-related issues. An important part of her practice involves advising real estate agents and their clients on the purchase and sale of property. Furthermore, Dominique is involved in reviewing and drafting lease contracts. Do you have questions about terminating a lease or maximizing a rent increase of a deregulated property? Dominique absolutely knows how to handle those. She is also the right person to turn to in the event of defects in a rental property, such as mold.
Dominique advises professional parties such as (re)tenants, property developers, contractors and housing associations. She also assists individuals who, for example, have had a house built or are dealing with the neighbors’ garden house that is on their property.
