Loubna Bentohami helps both employers and employees in various legal issues which (can) arise on the work floor.
The work in her practice varies from advising on (collective) labour agreements or non-competition clauses to litigating about dismissal. Loubna's clients come to her with issues relating to incapacity for work, social security and flexible work, among others.
Loubna embarked on her career with a course in legal services. She went on to study law at higher professional education level before doing Law at University of Amsterdam. During and after her studies, Loubna worked as a legal assistant at Utrecht District Court. She then joined a legal firm in Utrecht as a lawyer. As a lawyer, Loubna is now part of the 'Labour and Pensions' practice group at Van Veen Advocaten. She successfully completed the Post Academic Course in Employment Law (PALA) in 2023.
Loubna's characteristic strength is her result-oriented approach. With the final goal in sight, she is not easily thrown off track. She will do everything in the interest of her client. In contrast to this self-confident, fanatical side, she shows great empathy with respect to the client's (legal) situation. Loubna is mainly concerned with what interests the other person, rather than talking about herself. With her good listening skills and creative but realistic ideas, clients describe Loubna as a pleasant sparring partner. Her priority is always to give honest and good legal advice. And that is exactly what her clients get.
